Marukyu Cosplay

So at Wondercon my boyfriend and I finally cosplayed Bleez and Kyle Rayner~!

This costume was super uncomfortable in so many ways, and it ended up being much more of a challenge than anticipated. I’m currently remaking the entire thing from the beginning for Fanime, so fingers crossed it turns out a little more manageable!!

SO I actually managed to finish Cammy in time for Youmacon which was awesome. I’m pretty sure I remade that stupid leotard 5 or 6 times. I’m still not 100% happy with the costume, but I learned a lot when making it, so.. yeah~!

I had a surprisingly great time at fanexpo! I only went for sunday and was not feeling my best/was SUPER tired, but it was still lots of fun.

I got some fun pictures with some great DC cosplayers! Just took these on my phone, i’ll upload actual photos from the shoot later~

I’m going to start posting photosets of all of my favorite cosplay pictures because.. well, i can, and i miss cosplaying a lot of these characters.

First up is Rise~! I had fun cosplaying her, it was at a small local event. I dont think I really did her justice but I think she’s adorable so I just had to.

So this one time at Anime Expo my boyfriend and I made my blackbat mask the night before the con

It didnt look horrible (only because he helped, if i was left on my own it woulda been derpy as hell) but it wasnt great. It was hard to keep on and kept sliding off, and obviously wasnt fitted to my face properly! So being the amazingly sweet person he is, he got me a mask made!

Its ridiculously amazing and i love it so much. I’ll be doing a shoot in the next week or two so hopefully ill get better pictures of it, but until then YAY CRAPPY CELLPHONE PHOTOS i just had to show how perfect it was aaaaah 

i keep posting this stuff to my personal  blog instead of my cosplay blog

Last post about AX, I promise. I had an amazing time and I cant wait to go back and spend even more time with my boyfriend, go back and see more of California and go back to AX next year.

I’m still not 100% happy with my blackbat but I had a lot of fun wearing it and cant wait to improve it~
